As an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist, I help you strengthen your emotional connection and improve communication with partner. I understand that navigating relationship challenges can be tough, and I'm here to provide a safe space for both of you to explore your feelings. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be causing distress work towards healthier ways to connect. My goal is to guide you in fostering a deeper understanding of each other, ultimately building a stronger, more loving relationship.

What is EFT?

Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) is great way to help couples connect better by focusing on their emotions. Created by Dr. Sue Johnson, approach helps partners break out of negative patterns and build a stronger bond. How do the sessions look like?

In a typical 90-minute couples therapy session, both partners have the opportunity to express their in a safe and supportive environment. Me as a  psychologist take a neutral stance, facilitating the conversation without interjecting personal opinions. Each partner shares their side of the story, allowing for open communication and understanding. I guide the discussion, helping couples navigate their feelings and find common ground to work towards healing and connection.

1st session: all together 
2nd session: I meet with each partner individually for a private session to gain a better understanding of their emotional background
